Hybrid Cooler (Peak Load Cooling System)

The direct air cooling system has many problems, including poor safety, limited performance, high coal consumption of power generation in sudden crosswind in summer, and difficulty in antifreezing in winter. To solve the above problems, after more than ten years of accumulation of experience in R&D, manufacture and application, Longhua Technology Group has achieved the optimized combination of direct air cooling system and evaporative condenser system, and independently developed a new type of high-efficiency condensing device - hybrid cooler.
It is mainly used for condensation and cooling of exhaust steam of steam turbine.

Main components

The hybrid cooler is mainly based on air-cooled heat exchange, and evaporative heat exchange is an optimization measure to reduce back pressure. Exhaust steam of steam turbine enters direct air cooling tube bundle and evaporative condenser through the main exhaust tube, and condensed water is collected in exhaust device and is sent back into system for recycling through pipeline. Non-condensable gas is pumped out and discharged into the atmosphere by the vacuum-pumping system.

    Exhaust steam is condensed in the base tube, and latent heat is carried away by the air in the case of low temperature.

    If the air temperature is high, spraying water outside the tube of evaporative condenser can improve the heat exchange performance and solve the safety problems caused by crosswind in summer.

    The features of air-cooled condenser and evaporative condenser are fully utilized, and the heat exchange performance is better by combining air-cooled condenser and evaporative condenser.

    The contradiction between the unit output capacity in summer and the antifreezing requirements for heat exchanger in winter has been effectively solved, thereby improving the safe operation reliability of the system.

    In summer, the back pressure is low, and the unit can be operated in full load, which increases the economical efficiency of system operation.

    Compared with the traditional air-cooled condenser, it has lower energy consumption and higher efficiency, without antifreezing problem in winter.

    The water spray device is used only in extreme high temperature conditions, which can be switched automatically.

    Wastewater generated by other process flows can be used without harm to the tube bundle


Application

Hybrid cooler is a new type of high-efficiency condensing device independently developed by Longhua Technology Group, which is efficient, energy-saving and eco-friendly. It is mainly used for condensation and cooling of exhaust steam of steam turbine.
