Evaporative cooler (condenser) includes the following components from bottom to top: spray water tank, water system (water replenishment, overflow, sewage discharge), water supply device, air inlet window, evaporative tube bundle, water distribution device, water collector, air guide chamber, axial flow fan, maintenance panel.

Compared with similar products, it saves more electricity and water. The simple structure without packing makes the air inlet smoother with less resistance, suitable for use in harsh environment. Evaporative condenser is mainly used for condensing and cooling the exhaust steam of steam turbine.

Operating Principle

Evaporative condenser is a kind of high-efficiency energy-saving equipment developed by Longhua Technology Group on the basis of absorbing advanced technologies at home and abroad. Water and air are used as cooling media to exchange heat in condensing coil with exhaust steam of high temperature medium steam turbine.

Main components

Exhaust steam of steam turbine enters from the upper part of condensing coil, and is discharged from the lower part after being condensed. The condensing water is sent to the spray device on the upper part of the condensing coil by the circulating water pump. Then, the water is uniformly sprayed on the surface of the condensing coil by the nozzles to form a water film. The exhaust steam of the steam turbine in the coil exchanges heat with the water outside the coil. The exhaust steam of the steam turbine condenses and releases heat, and the sprayed water outside the coil evaporates and vaporizes, which is absorbed by unsaturated air and discharged into the atmosphere by the fan. The unevaporated water falls into the water collecting tank for recycling. The condensed water is collected in the condensation tank through the pipeline, and the non-condensable gas is discharged by the vacuum-pumping device.

    The condenser tube is oval flat tube, which ensures the spray water to evenly flow through the whole base tube, thereby reducing the dry area and increasing the heat transfer effect.

    The condenser tube is carbon steel hot dip galvanized zinc tube, ensuring strong corrosion resistance and long service life of the equipment.

    The heat transfer performance depends on the ambient wet bulb temperature, and the outlet temperature of the medium can be lower than the air dry bulb temperature, with low back pressure.

    The water distributor is equipped with a high-efficiency nozzles, ensuring good water distribution and anti-blocking performance.

    Glass fiber reinforced plastic is used for the surface of the water collecting tank, thus avoiding water leakage and corrosion to the peripheral carbon steel of water collecting tank.

    The new type of high-efficiency axial flow fan has low noise, high efficiency and good energy saving effect.

    The high-efficiency water collector can reduce mist loss of water for good water saving effect.

    The water level in the water collecting tank is automatically adjusted by the float valve, thereby automatically replenishing water.
